Cooky Swimmer

We started another session of swim lessons this month. Max is doing great. He can swim half the length of the pool eyes down, fast kicks and slow arms. He's doing great!

Pie?

Papaw Curtis and Max played around with whip cream. Max had a blast getting a "pie" in the face.

Birthday Parties Galore

Max was invited to two birthday parties this past weekend for two kids in his class, Ryan and Brynn. Ryan's birthday was at the Austin Children's Museum and was dinosaur themed and Brynn's was at her house and was princess themed. Max has a little girlfriend named Tili who luckily was at both parties. He grabbed her and wouldn't let go. They played together most of the time.

Princess Party???

Yep! Max was invited over to Victoria's Princess Party complete with pink, pink and more pink! We dressed him up in some knight's armour and he fit right in. Loved playing in Victoria's castle and then found some other knights and they promptly found Thomas the Train. Cinderella came by for a visit with games, balloons, bubbles and face painting. Max of course sat down and asked for Lightning McQueen - to which Cinderella giggled and said she would try. He was happy with it.

Max wrote his name!

I'm making him work on his letter recognition and trying to get him to write his name. These were his attempts today.

Hatching a dinosaur

Max got some "hatch a dino" kits for Christmas. They took a few days but I managed to get pictures of them on their journey. It's been fun to watch them.

Turning 4 Ain't Easy

Max had his 4 year old check-up today. Rough day! He had an "off" day at school and just barely scraped by with his "good choices clips". Mrs. Fionda told me she only let him have what he needed for the treat because he was her special helper this week. He had to end his school day with an apology to Mrs. Fionda for making "loud choices" in class today. After that, I had to take him for his check-up which turned into a 2 hour process of hearing tests, vision tests, etc. (which he passed with flying colors) but the icing on the cake was the 4 shots he got today (2 more shots next week!). He passed out in the car on the way home and didn't want to get up for his Wii game even!
